BPA Solutions (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the FileSnap mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using FileSnap, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Our Privacy Commitment

FileSnap is designed with privacy as a core principle. All file processing happens entirely on your device. We make zero network requests, connect to zero servers, and perform zero tracking. Your files never leave your iPhone or iPad.

Information We Collect

We collect the absolute minimum data necessary:

• Conversion history — A local-only log of your recent conversions (file type, date) stored on your device to display your activity. This data never leaves your device.
• Pro purchase status — Your purchase status (free or Pro) is managed through Apple StoreKit. We do not process or store your payment details.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or personal contact information
• The content of your files (images, PDFs, documents)
• Your precise or approximate location
• Your contacts, browsing history, or activity outside the App
• Any analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
• Biometric data

Third-Party Services

FileSnap uses only one third-party service:

• Apple StoreKit — The Pro in-app purchase ($4.99 one-time) is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Payment information is handled by Apple and is never shared with us. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

FileSnap contains zero analytics SDKs, zero ad frameworks, and zero third-party tracking libraries. The App is built entirely with native Swift and SwiftUI with no external dependencies.

Device Permissions

FileSnap may request the following permissions:

• Photos Library — To save converted images to your photo library and to read images you select for conversion. Access is only used when you explicitly choose to import or export a file.
• Files Access — To read files you select from the Files app and to save converted files back. Access is limited to files you explicitly select.

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device only. FileSnap has no backend, no server, and no database. We do not upload, store, or retain any of your data anywhere.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Conversion history is stored locally and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
• Pro purchase status is managed by Apple and synced with your Apple ID.

Data Security

Your files are processed entirely within the App's sandboxed environment on your device. They are protected by your device's built-in security features including encryption at rest. Since no data is transmitted over the network, there is no risk of interception.

Children's Privacy

FileSnap is suitable for users of all ages. We do not collect any personal information from any user, including children. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of data processing
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
