Open Source MCP Server

The Vidya MCP server is open-source software that runs entirely on your local machine. When using the open-source version:

• No data leaves your machine — All video processing, transcription, and rendering happens locally.
• No telemetry — The open-source server does not phone home or collect usage analytics.
• No accounts required — You do not need to create an account or provide personal information.

Paid Services (Solo, Studio, API)

If you use our paid services, we may collect:

• Account information — Email address and name for account creation and billing.
• Payment information — Processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store credit card details.
• Usage metrics — Rendering minutes and API calls for billing purposes only.

Cloud Rendering (Studio Plan)

If you use cloud rendering, your video files are uploaded to our servers for processing. Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Rendered files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of delivery.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures. All communication with our services uses HTTPS encryption. Cloud infrastructure is hosted on secure, SOC 2-compliant providers.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Since the open-source version collects no data, these rights apply only to paid service users.
